M. Bryan Day has over 26 years of experience as a senior executive in various healthcare companies, including for-profit and not-for-profit acute and post-acute care settings. Day’s experience includes oversight and management on a local, regional and corporate level.
Receiving Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and a Master’s degree in Health System Management from Tulane University in the 1980s’, he completed a residency program in Hospital Administration at Alton Ochsner Foundation hospital in New Orleans in 1989. Bryan worked over 16 years in a non-profit healthcare system in Louisiana, in various capacities, including 10 years as the CEO of a 170 bed tertiary hospital.
During the last 10 plus years of his career he has strengthened his skills for building and maintaining strong physician relationships while working and consulting in the Rehabilitation, Long-term Acute Care, and Home Health industries, as a Regional Executive and Owner.
Throughout his career, Bryan has been very active in professional and civic organizations and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Louisiana Hospital Association and the Women’s Community Rehabilitation Council in Baton Rouge, where he lives with his wife and four children. Bryan brings a unique broad based knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and over 26 years “hands on” healthcare experience to the Advisory Board.
