Concierge Medicine: Affordable and Accessible

March 24, 2014

Often times when someone hears the term “Concierge Medicine” they assume it only caters to the rich. But if you take the time to really look into this type of personalized healthcare model, you’ll find that the actual cost for this type of proactive preventive care is truly accessible to the middle class. Not only is it more affordable that it has ever been, but with the coming changes brought on by Obamacare, the public is even more aware of where their healthcare dollars are being spent.
More and more physicians are choosing to change their practice to mirror the Concierge Medicine movement. “The people who go to these practices tend to be healthier and more proactive with their health,” Richard Samuel said in an article written in Concierge Medicine News.
